DESCRIPTION
  • It is compatible with 1-16 ton forklifts such as EP Equipment and Noblelift, with bore diameter ranging from 40-130mm, rod diameter ranging from 35-50mm, rated working pressure from 10-25MPa, stroke can be customized as needed, and peak pressure can reach 28MPa.
  • The cylinder is made of #20 steel and precision honed seamless cylinder. Combined with robotic automatic full welding process, it can withstand high-frequency forward/backward tilting operations without leakage, with smooth and non-jamming movements and excellent fatigue durability.
  • The piston rod is made of #45 steel plated with hard chrome, and offers a variety of surface anti-corrosion and wear-resistant treatment options such as Ni/Cr electroplating, laser cladding, and QPQ, making it suitable for complex working conditions such as humid and heavy loads.
  • We can design and match related accessories such as buffer valves, explosion-proof valves, and oil pipes according to your needs; the normal temperature range is -25°C to +110°C, and we support customization for special working conditions of high and low temperatures.

Forklift Tilt Cylinder for Controlled Mast Angle Adjustment

A forklift tilt cylinder pushes or pulls between the truck frame and mast so the operator can change the mast angle for travel, pickup and load placement. Many trucks use a left-and-right pair; the cylinder dimensions and installed adjustment must suit the actual mast linkage.

We review the mast tilt cylinder as part of that linkage. When you send a drawing or measured sample, include both mounting ends, retracted and extended centers, stroke, port layout and the adjustment position recorded before removal.

From Your Drawing or Sample to a Reviewed Tilt Cylinder Configuration

Drawing-based OEM configuration

Send the approved cylinder and mast drawings. We will review stroke, reference lengths, mounting interfaces, rod-end adjustment and ports as one configuration.

Replacement matching

If no drawing is available, send the existing part number, clear photos and complete measurements from the removed cylinder. We will flag any truck, linkage or circuit details still needed before quotation.

Installation checks

Inspect the pins, bushings, brackets, locknuts and hoses as well as the cylinder. Worn or misaligned linkage parts can change mast geometry and side-load a replacement.

Forklift Tilt Cylinder FAQ

Does a forklift tilt cylinder lift the forks?

No. It changes the angle of the mast. The forklift lift cylinder provides vertical mast or carriage movement, so the two functions require different geometry and circuit checks.

Are forklift tilt cylinders replaced in pairs?

Many forklifts use two tilt cylinders, but the service decision depends on the truck design and the condition of both sides. Record and compare both installed settings, then follow the truck maker's service requirements.

What measurements are needed for a replacement?

Provide stroke, retracted and extended mounting-center lengths, end styles, pin sizes, clevis widths, adjustment thread and locknut position, port details and clear installation photos.
